Astari Nite comparte video de "Always Like Yesterday"

La banda indie rock, dark wave Astari Nite, acaba de lanzar el video para su tema “Always Like Yesterday” , que será incluido en su segundo LP, Until the End of the Moon.

El video, dirigido por Photohouse Productions, muestra a la banda viajando y tocando en vivo. “Es un montaje que combina imágenes de algunos de nuestros shows en Alemania y algunas ideas inspiradas en cuentos de hadas. Es como un viaje en el tiempo. La canción tiene un valor sentimental para mi relacionado a una persona a la que amo personalmente”, dice el cantante Mychael Ghost.

“Always like Yesterday” combina melodías de guitarra alegres que recuerdan por momentos a The Smiths con instrumentación indie rock y voces oscuras. La canción, lanzada el 25 de Diciembre pasado, será incluida en el segundo disco de la banda, Until the End of the Moon, que saldrá el 13 de Mayo por el sello Dance Macabre Records.

Astari Nite anunciará pronto las fechas de un tour por la costa Este de los Estados Unidos.

El grupo, nacido en 2008 en Miami, está formado por Mychael Ghost (voz), Illia Tulloch (Batería), M. Sallons (Bajo), Michael Setton (Guitarra) y Howard Melnick (Guitarra). Actualmente pertenecen Dance Macabre Records (Alemania).

Astari Nite ha sido headliner en numerosos shows en Estados Unidos y Europa y ha sido banda soporte de muchos artistas internacionales incluyendo a Peter Hook, The Psychedelic Furs, ColdCave, Stars, Assemblage 23, Seabound, Modern English, Andy Rourke de The Smiths, Apoptygma Berzerk y De/Vision entre otros.

Desde su formación han editado cuatro discos entre LPs y EPs: Astari Nite (2010), Requiem Mass (2011) Stereo Waltz (2014) incluyendo los singles “Pyramids” y “I.O.” 1987, y Anonymous (2015) que contiene el single “The Boy Who Tried”.

2015 fue un año muy importante para Astari Nite siendo los headliners del festival Wave Gotik Treffen (Leipzig, Germany), tocando con The Psychedelic Furs, editando su EP the "Anonymous” y lanzando el video para "The Boy Who Tried".

Venezuelan post rock combo Tan Frío El Verano will be at SXSW 2016!

Post rock, IDM and noise are combined in Tan Frío el Verano's second LP, Otoño (“Autumn”). This album explores into the harsh corners of dark electronic, sound design and live instrumentation, creating an atmosphere and textures that mark a rapid evolution from their previous album, Primavera (“Spring”).

The group’s releases are based in a concept / story that began when four timeless authorities decided to incarnate in human skin: Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer.

Tan Frío el Verano is an audiovisual collective from Venezuela born in 2007. The group experiments with elements such as photography, short film projections, illustration, digital design and live visual performance.

They started as a three piece and by now they are a super band leaded by Rafael García (programming, synths, melodies, vocoder), Carlos Sánchez (bass, guitars, synths, trumpet), Diego Blanco (VJ) and Luis Edgardo Herrera (art director). The new players are John Guarenas (Synth, Vocals), Humberto Isea (guitars) and Carlos Astros (drums).

So far the band has released Invierno EP (“Winter”) and their debut LP Primavera, besides a compilation with fellow underground musicians from Venezuela. Primavera was distributed around the world and received many awards including a nomination for the Latin Grammy’s.

After a year of work and moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tan Frío el Verano dropped their second LP, Otoño , out on Scatter Records. The new musical palette of the group shows darker sounds with deep influences of industrial and glitch.

Tan Frío el Verano will visit the U.S. early next year with a special performance at SXSW 2016.
